For CH 7/8 we will skip the test(s) again as you will 'cover' the chapters on your own by doing the chapter(s) HW. Instead of a test you will present a small group propaganda poster which we will work on during the week using the TCI program. You must be present in class each day and ultimately on Friday to receive full credit for the small group project.

Today's classwork is "Reconizing bias" and "Primary Source on PACs." We will cover only Section 3 on PACs in CH 7 and move onto CH 8 on The Media, tomorrow.

CH 6 "Voters & Voter Behavior" this week, but no test nor HW. Instead you will have a four paragraph essay on the topic of 1) Why 18-25 yr olds vote at only 25% of the whole in mid-term elections. or 2) Why I will vote next year in the 2011, off-year elections. You will share your talking points orally as part of the grade in class on Friday before I collect them.
