Journalism

This course focuses on writing and publishing the school newspaper using advanced publishing software and graphic programs. Students practice all aspects of journalism through hands-on experience at creating a student-driven newspaper. Newspaper students practice the fundamentals of journalistic writing, photojournalism, graphic design and budget management. Students will also develop their abilities to work as a team as they produce the newspaper.

Journalism fulfills a G requirement of the UC/CSU Subject Area Requirements.
