Mr. Benainous' Exploring Computer Science class fielded a team of four students consisting of Samantha Englander, Laura Moreno, Javier Moro, and Diego Tamayo. The point of the contest was to design and pitch a mobile app. The contest was hosted by Representative Adam Shiff of the 28th Congressional District which includes Hollywood. Nominees and winners were announced at JPL in Pasadena on May 27th. Dr. Todd Ullah of the Office of Curriculum and Instruction facilitated LAUSD's participation.
