Congratulations to the Crimson Chronicle staff who participated in the Regional High School Journalism Write-Off on Saturday, March 7 at Cal State Northridge. Advancing to the state finals are: Vanessa Centeno (sports), Gaby Cordova (opinion), Franklin Franco (news), Steven Montoya (opinion)and Erika Salazar (news).

HHS Performing Arts Magnet will be performing their annual spring dance concert "Superpower" this weekend Friday and Saturday at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Come see your friends and support their hard work. "Superpower"

Councilmember Tom LaBonge for a one-day fundraiser that focuses on physical activity, school spirit, and fun! Funds will go back to healthy eating and active living programs and events!

All students are welcome to attend any of the AP presentations and learn about the various AP courses we have to offer. Teachers will present during lunchtime in their respective rooms. See flyer for more information.

Hollywood High School welcomes the WASC accreditation committee on March 1-4, 2015.

Please join us for an AP Committee meeting on Friday February 13th at 3:15 in room 413.

We will be discussing the continued growth of the AP Program, reviewing the AP Potential list, promoting the program for all students in all SLCs, developing parent involvement and understanding and sending a consistent student message.

Auditions for the spring drama production, TWELFTH NIGHT, will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, February 4th and 5th in 503 from 3:15 to 5:00 with call backs on Monday, February 9th in 503 from 3:15 to 5:00

Attention Class of 2015, there will be a Senior Class assembly this Friday, February 6, during period six. You will need to check in with your period six teacher, retrieve your summons then proceed to the auditorium.

Graduation for the Class of 2015 will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 5:00 PM at the Hollywood Bowl. Tickets are not required however, there is a fee for parking at the Bowl.

The panorama picture has been rescheduled so all seniors who are interested may participate in the cash for college field trip on 11/5/14. The new date is 11/6/14.
