"Field trip to Pali Institute Outdoor Education. The students were so excited to see a little bit of snow still left on the ground! To start our day we participated in a leadership/team building high ropes course. The students all set goals and had a blast pushing themselves farther then they expected. They were constantly encouraged each other while overcoming some fears. I could not be more proud of each and every one of the students who attended:) We also got to see and learn about the lizards, snakes, and turtles that they have at Pali. In addition, we had an afternoon hike that was paired with an outdoor skills course. The students learned about Leave No Trace, how to build fires/shelters, cook in the wilderness and other basic survival skills. All in all, the students were incredible throughout this wonderful opportunity that we had the pleasure of experiencing. It definitely was a trip to be remembered." -Rania Zeineddine
